Medium Youth Organisation (MEYO)

MEYO- MEDIUM YOUTH ORGANISATION  is a group comprising teenagers ages 13 to 17.

On attaining 18 years of age they are promoted to senior youth COGYOK. Their passage is usually marked with  electrifying performances,

Soon after the performances, they are provided with certificates of completion and right of passage. They are then handed over to the care of  the current Youth President.

Some of the major reasons for starting this group are:

  • Providing guidance and counseling to the teens in their primetime.
  • Teaching a holistic approach to Messianic faith.
  • Protect teenagers from drug abuse.
  • Protect the teens from early pregnancies.
  • Equip the teens with proper knowledge of life skills.
  • Instil discipline.
  • Provide a community of peers with a common goal

The Bible teaches us in Acts 2:39 that the kingdom of God belongs to us and our children. That is why there are teachers who are assigned the specific role of teaching the church doctrine to the teens. They organize seminars for these children and an AGM at the end of every year, where they are taught church doctrines as well as how to best conduct themselves at home, in school, and in the community at large.
