CHURCH OF GOD SEVENTH DAY
P.O BOX 568, JERUSALEM,ISRAEL
Not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
What wretched conditions forecasted by the apostle Paul will be prevalent in this time of the end? 2 Tim 3:1-7 2Ti 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2Ti 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 2Ti 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 2Ti 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 2Ti 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
In this perilous time we are in,what must every Messianic put on and why? Ephesians 6:11, 12; 1 Peter 5:8 Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 1Pe 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
what is the armour of God? Ephesians 6:13-18 Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all, to stand. Eph 6:14 Stand, therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; Eph 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Eph 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
what sound counsel must every Messianichave and heed? Luke 21:34-36 Luk 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. Luk 21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Luk 21:36 Watch ye, therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass and to stand before the Son of man.
Through what medium does one have faith in God? Romans 10:17 Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
How will one achieve this condition,especially in this time of the end? Hebrews 10:25; 3:13; 14 Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Heb 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. Heb 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end;
what is the reward of those who adhere to the above commandments? Malachi 3:16,17 Mal 3:16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. Mal 3:17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
What should be the daily duties of good shepherds and teachers in the church? Isaiah 62:6,7;10, 58:1,Micah 3:8 Isa 66:6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.Isa 66:7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. Isa 66:10 Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her: Isa 58:1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. Mic 3:8 But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.
What should be the degree of our light to the world? Isaiah 60:1; Mathew 5:14-16 Isa 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. Mat 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. Mat 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Mat 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
What does the apostle Paul have to say in Romans 13:11-14? Rom 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now, is our salvation nearer than when we believed. Rom 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us, therefore, cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Rom 13:13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. Rom 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.
What world-wide warning message must true Messianic proclaim to the world prior to the second advent of the Messiah? Reve 14:9 Rom 14:9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
To what counsel must Messianic not fail to pay heed? Mark 13:33-36. Mar 13:33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. Mar 13:34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Mar 13:35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Mar 13:36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
